COLOURS TO BE USED AS A GUIDE ONLY
Top class ceramic decoration can now be achieved with the Marabu-Porcelain Painter. The high-gloss porcelain pen is ideal for writing and painting on porcelain, glass, lightly glazed ceramics, metal and terracotta. After baking in the oven, the painter is even dishwasher-safe.
Avoid cutting areas on plates and rims of mugs. Clean with a soft sponge or cloth.
1. Before you start painting, please wash the crockery with hot water and detergent or in a dishwasher and pre-clean it with alcohol-based spirit.
2. Before use, shake Marabu-Porcelain Painter well with the cap closed.
3. Use the painter on a separate piece of paper first. Press the tip onto the paper repeatedly until the ink is visible in it. Please press the tip slowly, otherwise you may flood the tip.
4. Then try the painter on a piece of scrap paper – you are ready to start!
5. Allow the outlines to dry briefly before they are coloured-in. Allow the painted item to dry for approx. 4 hours.
6. After use, close the cap well (until it clicks) and store the painter in a horizontal position.
7. It is possible to make corrections or remove the paint applied without any problems before having baked the paint in the oven. For this, use a cotton bud with alcohol-based spirit and remove the paint.
8. Put the dry objects into an unheated oven. Set the oven to 170 degrees centigrade, allow it to reach the required temperature, and then bake for approx. 30 minutes. Then turn off the heat and allow the items to cool down in the closed oven. Do not remove until cool.
